🏡 Owner Tip: The Restaurant Most Tourists Never Find
Kinara Dhaba on the old Mumbai–Pune highway (near Khandala ghat section) is a 50-year-old institution that most first-time visitors miss entirely because it’s not on the expressway. The butter chicken and dal makhani are genuinely legendary — cooked in clay pots on a wood fire. They stay open until 11 PM, long after most Lonavala restaurants close. Ask your villa caretaker to point you toward the ‘old highway’ route on day two — it’s worth the 10-minute detour.
Great help. Will definitely try some of these places.
